Born and raised in the East End,
Peter Benedict then trained as an actor at
The Webber Douglas, where he learned many things, including how to pour tea correctly on screen
and how to speak in a way that would prevent him
from playing Cockney roles for the next twenty years.
When he finally unlearned the latter,
he was cast in a TV role that required the former
He now divides his time between
acting, directing and writing.
